Three-quarters of a million people have rallied to Your Party in disgust at Keir Starmer’s government of war, austerity, and xenophobia. ButJeremy Corbyn, Zarah Sultana and others offer no way forward. They are seeking to build a new reformist party, at a time when capitalism is destroying every reform won through decades of struggle. The global crisis is driving a war on jobs, wages and services, while imperialist powers escalate conflicts from Ukraine to Gaza.Governments respond with repression, far-right violence and divide-and-rule xenophobia. Against this brutal offensive, Corbyn and Sultana’s talk of “kindness” and “fairness” is a dangerous illusion. What is needed is a worldwide counter-offensive by the working class against capitalism and for socialism. This pamphlet explains why onlythe fight to build a revolutionary, internationalist leadership—theSocialist Equality Party—can provide the way forward.
